Tips
- If you currently keep your bins at the side or back of your House the hidbin now gives you the option of now keeping them at the front where it is very possibly more convenient.
- If you have a terraced house or restricted access to the side/back of your property then the hidbin solves your problems, no more trundling a mucky, possibly wet, certainly smelly bin through the house.
- If you have a hidbin then there is far less call to frequently wash out your bin, an unpleasant job I think we can all agree.
- It you have more than one bin but are not in a position to get more than one hidbin unit then by simply lining up your other bins behind the first the others will be automatically out of sight. See the short demo video to illustrate this.
- The priority is to hide your bins from view, especially from the road or gate or while walking in the front door. It is acknowledged as being particularly bad feng shui to have ones rubbish visibly outside ones front door. By positioning the hidbin unit optimally the bin(s) should be invisible from the front and side (and top).
- As there are many possible locations on each property it is up to the purchasers judgment as to where to place the hidbin(s). This may or may not be where they were stored in the pre-hidbin era. Commonly they are stored against the side of the house in suburbia. If thats the case then perhaps you can now store them in front rather than behind the side gate thereby not having to unlock and re lock twice the gate each bin collection day (sound familiar?). One could also avoid tripping over bikes, toys and other assorted paraphernalia that seems to accumulate at the side of our houses.
- Nowadays most people have french doors and therefore can see more of their back garden than in years gone by. Perhaps you can see the bins from where you stand doing the washing up. Now you don't have to frown at them any longer!
- Besides assisting security by not having to constantly open and close the side gate (admit it, you've been in a hurry before...possibly more than once, and left the gate unlocked on bin day - I wonder have burglars guessed at the likelyhood of this also?) you also get further benefits from buying a hidbin: not only will people not cheekily pop their rubbish into YOUR bins as they can no longer even see your bins but also your actual wheelie bins are far less likely to be stolen as, again, they are out of sight! Your neighbours still wont be though.
Further Enhancement
These clips as per photo below, allow for much improved attaching and detactching of wheelie bin lid. They now come as standard on all new HidBin's

We recently received the new clips for our HidBin and they make it much easier to take out and back in the bins from the HidBin. We did not complain about the existing clips, but the new one's are better - so, without prompting, and at no cost, we were sent something to improve the HidBin. Thanks guys - thats great after sales service
